Pediatric Hospitalist Practice Medical Director Position Highlights:

Leadership Role:

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the pediatric hospitalist program

Clinical Engagement:

Maintain active inpatient pediatric practice, including daytime rounding

On-Call Coverage:

Out-of-house call with a 30-minute response time

Key Responsibilities of Pediatric Hospitalist Leader:

Medical direction and oversight of pediatric inpatient services Collaboration with hospital administration and multidisciplinary teams Oversight of quality initiatives, clinical protocols, and best practices Attendance at deliveries as requested Performance of newborn circumcisions Coordination of stabilization and transport when needed Support of physician scheduling, mentoring, and program development
