Job Description

Description Position Summary The Medical Director of Hospitalist Medicine at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center provides clinical, operational, and physician leadership for a hospital-employed hospitalist program. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, efficient, safe, and patient-centered inpatient care while advancing organizational goals related to quality, access, value-based care, and physician engagement.
Additional Information:
Full time position with 0.6 FTE administrative and 0.4 FTE clinical Position Qualifications Experience At least 3 years of hospitalist experience is required Prior leadership experience, experience in a hospital-employed model, and formal leadership training is preferred Education MD or DO from an accredited medical school is required Required Certification/Licensure Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners (OSBME) Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
