North Chicago, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $130.00 - 143.64 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Support the Oncology Chief of Staff in driving culture, communications, and change-management initiatives. Track external collaborations, maintain stakeholder alignment, and serve as the primary point of contact for clinical protocols. Coordinate cross-functional assessments of external assets, including preclinical data and investigator brochures. Manage contracts and external engagements to implement therapeutic area partnering recommendations. Coordinate Oncology Clinical Development protocol review meetings and maintain tracking databases for decisions and actions. Escalate operational risks, issues, and decisions to the Chief of Staff and functional VP in a timely manner.
qualifications:
Required skills: BS or MS degree in a scientific field. 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry Background in the Oncology therapeutic area, including familiarity with scientific concepts and preclinical data. Proven background in clinical development, pharma operations, and global project management. Deep knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA/international regulations. Strong data analytics capabilities and operational excellence experience. Expertise in change management and leading teams in a complex matrix environment. Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for executive-level synthesis Preferred skills Background in late-stage Oncology clinical development strategies. Experience utilizing automation and AI-driven tools to improve reporting efficiency.
