Beacon is a successful and national private-equity behavioral health company providing residential-based services and supports to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, Autism, and high-acuity behaviors. All activities related to this position must be delivered in compliance with the company's policies and procedures, accreditation standards, state and federal licensing requirements, HCBS guidelines, and the contractual requirements of Community Mental Health Agencies and other regulatory bodies. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin and support high-quality care for the individuals we serve. This leader partners closely with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes, enhance training, and support individuals in living their best lives. Prior experience in behavioral health is preferred. Key Responsibilities Lead and support nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs Ensure quality care standards, best practices, and compliance are maintained Monitor clinical data and implement performance improvement initiatives Support infection control, medication management, and continuity of care Collaborate with operations and training teams to strengthen services Participate in accreditation readiness and quality assurance efforts Provide coaching, guidance, and leadership to the nursing team Qualifications Active RN license required 3+ years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience (preferably in behavioral health) Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Experience with healthcare compliance, quality metrics, and team development Valid driver's license required with clean driving record Ready to Lead With Purpose?
