This position will lead the development, structure, and quality of training across the organization, including oversight of all clinical supervisors and trainees across disciplines. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with children and families, is deeply aligned with neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed care, and is passionate about building and leading high-quality clinical training systems. About Us Mala Child & Family Institute is a growing multidisciplinary clinic offering: Psychotherapy Psychological evaluations Occupational therapy Medication management Speech and language therapy Our approach is: Neurodiversity-affirming Trauma-informed Culturally responsive Systems-oriented and family-centered Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all clinical training programs across the organization Supervise and support clinical supervisors who oversee practicum students and post-graduate fellows (Master's and Doctoral level) Ensure consistency and excellence in training across disciplines, including: Psychology, Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Pathology Develop and refine training curriculum, structure, and standards Lead case conferences, didactics, and training initiatives Ensure all training meets ethical, licensure, and professional standards Collaborate with department leaders (OT, psychiatry, assessment, psychotherapy, speech) Support supervisor development, feedback systems, and accountability Maintain a culture of clinical excellence, reflection, and growth Qualifications PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology Fully licensed psychologist in Michigan (required) Strong clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families Experience in clinical supervision and training leadership Demonstrated commitment to neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care Ability to lead across disciplines and support diverse clinical teams Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
