Job Description

PathGroup is seeking an AP/CP Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pathologist to join our hospital-based practice supporting a leading regional referral hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana . Candidates based in the Greater Chicago, IL, Indianapolis, IN, and Detroit, MI areas are encouraged to apply, as this role offers a hybrid schedule consisting of approximately two weeks per month of on-site coverage in Fort Wayne and two weeks per month of remote sign-out . This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality diagnostic medicine within a collaborative, digitally supported environment. Candidates with strong general surgical pathology and clinical pathology skills who value flexibility, teamwork, and complex case exposure are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:
Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases Perform frozen sections and intraoperative consultations Oversee select areas of clinical pathology (e.g. blood bank, hematology, chemistry) Participate in quality initiatives, tumor boards, and clinical discussions Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution AP/CP Board Certification or Board Eligibility Eligible for Indiana medical license Excellent diagnostic and interpersonal skills Strong commitment to collaborative, team-based pathology service
