- Medical Spa (Part-Time Hybrid) Position Overview We are seeking a licensed physician to serve as the Medical Director for our growing medical spa.
This role combines in-person oversight with remote availability to ensure compliance, patient safety, and clinical excellence. The Medical Director will work onsite two days per week and provide ongoing support, supervision, and consultation remotely by phone during business hours as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in aesthetic medicine, wellness services, or medical spa operations and be committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Oversight Provide medical supervision for all aesthetic and wellness treatments performed within the practice. Establish, review, and approve treatment protocols and clinical policies. Ensure compliance with state medical board regulations and industry standards. Conduct periodic chart reviews and quality assurance audits. Staff Supervision & Training Supervise registered nurses, estheticians and other clinical staff as required by state law. Provide training, guidance, and clinical support for new and existing procedures. Participate in staff meetings and continuing education initiatives. Patient Safety & Compliance Be available for consultation regarding patient care concerns and adverse events. Ensure proper informed consent procedures are followed. Assist with risk management and incident review when necessary. Maintain oversight of medical records and documentation standards. Onsite Responsibilities (2 Days Per Week) Conduct in-office evaluations and consultations as needed. Meet with clinical staff to review operations and patient outcomes. Perform treatments or consultations if mutually agreed upon. Support implementation of new services and technologies. Remote Responsibilities Remain reasonably available by phone during business hours for clinical questions and provider support. Review charts, protocols, and documentation remotely. Participate in virtual meetings and compliance reviews as needed. Qualifications Active, unrestricted Physician (MD or DO) license in the state of practice. DEA registration (if applicable). Experience in aesthetic medicine, dermatology, plastic surgery, family medicine, emergency medicine, or related specialties preferred. Knowledge of medical spa regulations and supervision requirements. Strong communication and leadership skills.
Schedule Onsite:
2 days per week.

Ongoing phone availability and administrative oversight during business hours. Flexible scheduling available.
