Job Description
Job Summary The Jule Wellness Studio is seeking a Texas-licensed physician to serve as Medical Director for a luxury wellness and advanced IV therapy clinic in its early startup phase. The Jule is a new, modern wellness concept being built to combine medical oversight, advanced wellness therapies, and a luxury patient experience in a high-end clinical environment. Because the business is in the beginning stages of launch, this role is designed to be low-volume and part-time. This is a remote 1099 position, but the physician must reside within 40 miles of the clinic to support oversight needs, compliance requirements, and availability when necessary. The Medical Director will be responsible for helping establish the clinic's clinical foundation through protocol oversight, chart review, delegation, compliance, and patient safety support as the business grows. Medical Director Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Clinical Oversight Serve as the supervising physician / Medical Director for the clinic Provide physician oversight for clinic services in accordance with Texas law Support safe patient screening and treatment eligibility processes Ensure appropriate clinical escalation pathways are in place Protocol Development & Review Establish, review, approve, and sign written clinical protocols Create and maintain standing orders for clinic services Review protocols at least annually or as required by law Ensure treatment protocols align with patient safety standards and current regulations Delegation & Supervision Provide delegation authority where appropriate and legally permissible Support

clinical workflows as applicable under Texas law Execute required physician agreements, standing orders, and delegation documents Ensure staff operate within lawful scope and approved protocols Chart Review & Compliance Conduct periodic chart audits and documentation review Review informed consent processes and patient screening documentation Ensure adherence to protocols, clinical documentation standards, and safety procedures Help maintain readiness for compliance review and operational audits Availability & Consultation Remain available by phone and/or telehealth for physician consultation as needed Be accessible for clinical questions, urgent decision-making, or emergency support Participate in occasional meetings related to operations, compliance, and service expansion Safety & Emergency Planning Assist in establishing written emergency response procedures Ensure the clinic maintains safe escalation and referral processes Support medical compliance and patient safety infrastructure Business / Structural Requirement Must be willing to own the PLLC associated with the medical portion of the business in accordance with Texas requirements Why This Role Is Unique This is not a high-volume primary care or hospital-based Medical Director role. Qualifications Required Active, unrestricted Texas Physician License (MD or DO) Must reside within 40 miles of Southlake, TX 76092 Must be eligible and willing to serve as Medical Director under Texas law Must be willing to own the PLLC Physician delegation Protocol development Clinical oversight Patient safety Chart review / compliance Comfortable with a part-time, remote oversight model Able to remain available for physician consultation when needed Preferred Previous or current medspa experience Cosmetic injection experience highly preferred Integrative or functional medicine practices Elective IV therapy Cosmetic lasers Preventative wellness services Allergy-related services Jennifer's Law / current Texas compliance requirements for elective IV therapy settings Schedule Flexible / part-time Must be reasonably available for physician oversight and clinical consultation Occasional meetings, documentation reviews
Location:
Remote/Southlake, TX (Part-Time) This position is primarily remote. However, the Medical Director must be available to visit our Southlake, TX clinic on an occasional basis for physician oversight, staff training, or when a patient requires a higher level of medical evaluation. Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance to support these infrequent on-site needs. Candidates must live within 40 miles of Southlake, TX 76092, we are not considering candidates outside of this range at this time.
