Job Description
Overview The Sober Connection is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Contract Medical Director for its behavioral health programs, including Inpatient Detox/Residential SUD and Inpatient Mental Health Residential services. This is a 1099 contract, hybrid leadership role requiring consistent on-site presence twice weekly to support clinical operations, staff oversight, and regulatory compliance. Duties Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for patients in Mental Health Residential and Detox/Residential SUD levels of care. Maintain on-site presence a minimum of one (1) day per week to conduct patient rounds, support nursing and clinical staff, and ensure quality of care. Serve as Medical Director overseeing all medical services across programs, ensuring alignment with state, federal, and accreditation standards. Supervise and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners in accordance with Ohio state regulations, including chart review, case consultation, and clinical guidance.
