Full-time Job Description:

Physician Services Group (PSG) is expanding in Walterboro, SC and hiring a full-time Physician (MD or DO) to join our growing Post-Acute Care team. Enjoy a weekday-only schedule with no weekends, and a low daily patient volume in a Skilled Nursing and Rehab setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care including new admissions, follow-ups, and scheduled Medicare visits Manage long-term and acute treatment plans for a stable post-acute population Lead and supervise Nurse Practitioners and Medical Assistants on-site Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility guidelines Collaborate with facility teams to coordinate holistic care Accurately document visits and submit billing using EMR and proper E/M coding Promote PSG's mission and services in alignment with care standards

Qualifications:

MD or DO (Board Certified or Board Eligible in a Primary Care specialty) Active South Carolina medical license, DEA, and DHEC credentials Strong understanding of chronic and post-acute care models EMR documentation and coding experience preferred Leadership skills and ability to work autonomously Passion for improving care in the post-acute space

Schedule:
