More about our team The Service Line- Interim ED Director is responsible for the operational oversight and direction of assigned LifePoint hospitals/markets and associated service line operations. The Interim Service Line ED Director works in collaboration with the Service Line Leader, and facility leadership, focused on implementing strategy and initiatives for service line operations and growth. Interim Service Line Directors will be assigned by the HSC Service Line leader in collaboration with the Division leaders. How you'll contribute Responsible for being the subject matter expert (SME) in Emergency Services and for providing leadership to facilities. Plan, support and promote the ED Services at facilities consistent with Company Mission, Vision, and Values. Provide support to facilities regarding emergency operations, quality of care, and patient safety. Assume primary responsibility for assimilating, identifying, and disseminating best demonstrated practices across the Company to support key strategic focus areas. Collaborate with physician provider teams to develop patient-focused, employee-owned, data-driven, and servant-led initiatives to best serve the community in which the facility operates. Collect and interpret data, define issues/problems, and draw valid conclusions. Coordinate and communicate with other leaders to within the facilities Support hospital strategy and service line operations for assigned hospitals/markets, leading the effective operation of service line departments. Support LifePoint hospitals as assigned. Responsible for all aspects of facility's service line operations and growth, including assistance in strategy development, maintenance of key metrics, financial reviews, and growth initiatives and revenue cycle analysis. Monitor, report on and present financial performance for all assigned departments and collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to annual budgets and strategic goals Provide leadership to unit, including daily supervision, performance management, coaching and talent development, with at least weekly communication to HSC service line leader. Manage support staff within assigned departments(s). Responsible for performance reviews and other HR related matters Assist hospital with recruitment and onboarding of a permanent director. Provide direct patient care as needed. Regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. What we're looking for
Education:
Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in service line specific director role or similar healthcare setting, with specific leadership experience.
Certifications:
Appropriate certifications as required by the service line.
Licenses:
