Job Description

A physician practice group is seeking a full-time physician for a medical director role in Cleveland, Tennessee, supporting care in an inpatient rehabilitation facility and related post-acute settings. This position includes medical director responsibilities in addition to direct patient care. It is a strong fit for a physician who wants rewarding clinical work, a high degree of independence, scheduling flexibility, and the opportunity to take on a meaningful leadership role. The physician will provide care for patients in a post-acute and rehabilitation-focused setting. Duties may include performing assessments, managing acute and chronic medical issues, developing and revising care plans, ordering and interpreting labs, prescribing and adjusting medications, working closely with nursing and interdisciplinary staff, and guiding patients and families on treatment plans and recovery goals. Clear, timely charting is also an important part of the role. In addition to clinical care, the physician will support medical director responsibilities, including collaboration with facility leadership, clinical oversight, care coordination, quality initiatives, regulatory compliance, and support for interdisciplinary care planning. The group offers solid clinical infrastructure, operational support, onboarding and training, and pathways into leadership as the post-acute care program continues to expand. Compensation includes unlimited bonus potential. Qualifications Active or eligible for medical license No history of unresolved disciplinary action affecting licensure Non-board certified physicians are welcome to apply. Location Cleveland, Tennessee, in the Chattanooga area. Additional opportunities may also be available throughout Tennessee and in other states, including Connecticut, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Mexico. Pay:
$320,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year
