Medical Director - Physician

Attending Physician and Medical Director opportunity in Covington, TN! This is a W-2 role as Medical Director - 10 hours a month - paid bi-weekly. Plus , we offer a full 90 Day Training Period as Facility Attending Physician under the purview of Telos Health Systems State CMO. Attending Physician compensation based on individual clinical work RVU compensations. This is a leadership extension to your current practice—not a second job. You keep your day job exactly as it is, while Telos provides full operational support and invests in your development as a post-acute leader. Why This Role Is Different Add-on leadership role with a predictable monthly stipend No clinic overhead and no additional outpatient panels NP/PA support handles all routine and interim visits Structured leadership commitment: 10 hours onsite per month Minimum 8 clinical visits per resident per year (scheduled by Telos; additional visits optional) CMD training fully funded (self-paced online + 2-day virtual seminar) Telos provides all technology, templates, QAPI tools, and survey preparation You bring clinical leadership. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Governance Provide clinical leadership and collaborate with facility leadership Participate in QAPI, quality review, and survey readiness Support interdisciplinary communication and clinical standards Oversee NP/PA workflows and Telos care pathways Clinical Touchpoints Complete minimum of eight (8) annual primary care visits per resident Additional visits compensated separately All day-to-day visits performed by Telos NPs/PAs On-Site Leadership 10 hours/month focused on CMD-aligned leadership activities (quality, collaboration, IDT, oversight—not shiftwork) Compensation & Support Monthly Medical Director Stipend Predictable stipend for leadership, governance, oversight, and on-site CMD-aligned work. Separate Compensation for Clinical Visits Minimum of 8 structured annual visits per resident, with full NP/PA and documentation support. Additional visits compensated separately. CMD Training Fully Funded You do not need to be a Certified Medical Director to start.
