Be the First to Apply Job Description Position Summary The Pre-Clinical Medical Education Director provides leadership, coordination, and operational oversight for the delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the pre-clinical medical curriculum (M1 and M2 years). Reporting to the Vice Dean for Academics, this position collaborates closely with faculty, course directors, curriculum committees, administrative leadership, and institutional stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the curriculum and compliance with accreditation standards. The Director serves as a key member of the medical education leadership team and supports strategic initiatives related to curriculum management, assessment, program evaluation, student learning experiences, and continuous quality improvement. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to contribute to collaborative, creative problem-solving, strategic thinking, and facilitation of long-term goals. Ability to manage multiple complex projects, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet established deadlines. Ability to engage in effective critical analysis. Ability to work effectively on administrative teams and independently as required. Ability to evaluate situations and make decisions. Ability to function in a highly detailed environment. Ability to confidentially manage highly sensitive student data. Knowledge of Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) accreditation standards. Knowledge of College of Medicine curriculum, policies, offering and scheduling issues. Required Qualifications Master's degree in education, health or related field required; three years progressively responsible related experience, preferably in medical education or higher education OR Equivalent experience
