As the Medical Director at the Middleton Unit in Abilene, you'll serve a unique patient population while benefiting from the stability, support, and values-based culture of TTUHSC.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver advanced professional medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and clinical decision-making for incarcerated individuals. Coordinate all aspects of clinical health care at the unit level to ensure timely, equitable access for all inmates. Supervise and support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), with responsibility for hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Utilization Management, Clinical Pharmacy, and external specialists to ensure appropriate care delivery. Uphold clinical documentation standards, participate in grievance reviews, and contribute to quality improvement efforts within the facility.
