Job Description

Summary/Objective Fulfills the role of Institutional Coordinator and is responsible to the Designated Institutional Official (DIO) and the hospital's COO for coordinating institutional and program oversight to ensure compliance with ACGME institutional and program accreditation requirements. Responsible for advising program directors and program coordinators on ACGME and institutional standards and providing guidance to support compliance. Serves as the primary point of contact for program leadership across all GME programs and is responsible for mentoring and training program coordinators, including one-on-one support as needed. Ensures accurate preparation and submission of accreditation materials and oversees compliance-related communications and documentation across the institution. Maintains responsibility for ensuring that all GME programs adhere to ACGME institutional and common program requirements by preparing, reviewing, and updating accreditation materials, policies, and compliance documentation. 2. Directs GME strategic initiatives, budgeting, institutional research collaboratives, onboarding and departure processes, new residency and fellowship evaluation, and the development and implementation of system-wide improvements. 3. Coordinates all aspects of GMEC activities, including meetings, policy reviews, accreditation reporting, and evaluation processes that contribute to the institution's ongoing accreditation readiness and governance. 4. Manages data collection, database systems, and reporting platforms used for institutional oversight, ACGME submissions, and internal performance reviews, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and utility of data. 5. Applies expertise in medical education, credentialing, licensure, confidentiality standards, and policy development while interacting effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and promoting effective communication across departments. 6. Acts as liaison between hospital, DIO and program directors to accomplish hospital/ GME program goals and objectives. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Health Care Administration or a related field Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare or academic setting, with at least 3 years of experience in an automated office environment using computer-based systems.

$49.29 - $65.73 per hour
