  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Radiology to lead our radiology department.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in medical imaging management, clinical supervision, and healthcare administration. This leadership role requires the ability to manage multiple facilities, have great organizational skills, and perform in a timely manner. Duties Oversee the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality imaging services. Lead, supervise, and mentor radiology staff including technologists, administrative personnel, and support staff. Develop and implement departmental policies aligned with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA Manage departmental budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results. Maintain accreditation standards and ensure all imaging equipment meets safety and quality standards. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations related to radiology practices. Requirements MRI Certification Knowledge of PACS Leadership experience in a radiology or medical imaging department Strong background in medical office management, including fiscal management, budgeting, and human resources. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. Experience supervising radiology technologists and administrative staff in a clinical environment. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities within acute care or hospital settings. Preferred 7+ Years experience Experience in Management / leadership roles
