Job Description
Veterinarian (Associate or Medical Director)
- Small Animal GP | Katy, TX A privately owned, veterinarian-led small animal practice in Katy, TX is hiring an experienced Associate Veterinarian/Medical Director This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys general practice + surgery, values medical autonomy, and wants to work in a supportive, collaborative environment (no corporate quotas or pressure). Job Type
- Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Part-time may be considered Patient Type
- Dogs & Cats only
- Approx. 70/30 case mix What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality medical care for small animal patients
- Diagnose, treat, and manage general practice cases
- Perform soft tissue surgery (strongly preferred)
- Communicate treatment plans clearly with clients
- Maintain accurate documentation and medical records
- Work closely with a supportive veterinary team Schedule
- Clinic hours: 7:00 AM
- 6:00 PM
- Typical shifts: o 7:00 AM
- 4:00/5:00 PM o 8:00 AM
- 6:00 PM
- Every other Saturday required
- Optional urgent care shifts available (not required) Compensation
- $140,000
- $180,000+ (Associate, based on experience)
- Leadership/Medical Director track available (starting around $180,000)
- ProSal option available: o Base starting around $120,000 o Plus 22% production Benefits
