Job Description

Veterinarian (Associate or Medical Director)
  • Small Animal GP | Katy, TX A privately owned, veterinarian-led small animal practice in Katy, TX is hiring an experienced Associate Veterinarian/Medical Director This is a great opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys general practice + surgery, values medical autonomy, and wants to work in a supportive, collaborative environment (no corporate quotas or pressure). Job Type
  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Part-time may be considered Patient Type
  • Dogs & Cats only
  • Approx. 70/30 case mix What You'll Do
  • Provide high-quality medical care for small animal patients
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage general practice cases
  • Perform soft tissue surgery (strongly preferred)
  • Communicate treatment plans clearly with clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation and medical records
  • Work closely with a supportive veterinary team Schedule
  • Clinic hours: 7:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM
  • Typical shifts: o 7:00 AM
  • 4:00/5:00 PM o 8:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM
  • Every other Saturday required
  • Optional urgent care shifts available (not required) Compensation
  • $140,000
  • $180,000+ (Associate, based on experience)
  • Leadership/Medical Director track available (starting around $180,000)
  • ProSal option available: o Base starting around $120,000 o Plus 22% production Benefits
