Local Team Collaboration:
At CHI St. Luke's Health Memorial in Lufkin, our strong, collaborative team includes thirteen physicians. We are an integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership. Our team actively participates in committees and leadership roles to support quality and process improvement.
Qualifications:
Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine. Minimum of one year in hospital medicine as a leader in an associate medical director or director-level role. We proudly sponsor H1B visa candidates and provide in-house visa specialists, licensing, and credentialing support. All required visa filing fees are covered by Sound.
Scheduling:
A combination of clinical and administrative time. 10 clinical shifts per month, and 60 hours a month of protected administrative time.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide oversight and leadership to a team of seasoned providers. Collaborate with both Sound Physicians leaders, as well as hospital leaders, in meeting key goals in care delivery and quality metrics. Living and Working in
