  • Emergency Department Behavioral Health Location Spokane, Washington Job Overview A leading Level II Trauma and Teaching Hospital is seeking a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a travel assignment within the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department.
This role focuses on behavioral health crisis intervention, risk assessment, and mental health support for patients presenting in emergency care settings. Shift Details Evening/Night Shift 4:00 PM
  • 2:00 AM Every other weekend required 13-week assignment Responsibilities Conduct behavioral health and crisis risk assessments for adult and pediatric patients Provide emergency department psychosocial evaluations and intervention services Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams Support patient stabilization, discharge planning, and community resource coordination Document assessments and interventions using Epic EMR Assist with mental health emergencies and high-risk patient situations Float to affiliated facilities performing similar duties as needed Requirements Active Washington LICSW license required Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatric patients Emergency Department or hospital-based behavioral health experience preferred Strong communication, de-escalation, and clinical assessment skills Ability to work independently in fast-paced acute care environments Preferred Qualifications Experience in psychiatric emergency services Prior trauma center experience Familiarity with Epic charting systems Experience working with both adult and pediatric populations For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807•EXT 4807 .
