Desired Qualifications:
Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) designation required Proven experience in radiation oncology or therapy settings Comprehensive knowledge of treatment planning systems and dosimetric calculations Strong communication and collaboration skills Adaptability to new technology and treatment protocols State licensure as required
Key Responsibilities:
Design and calculate precise radiation dose distributions and treatment plans for cancer patients Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and therapists to ensure optimal patient care Utilize advanced treatment planning software to create and verify complex plans Perform quality assurance checks on treatment plans and equipment Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation Stay current on emerging trends in radiation therapy technologies
