Job Description:
Designs treatment plans to deliver prescribed radiation doses to defined tumor volumes. Performs dosimetry methods, including intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy procedures. Fabricates beam modifying devices and immobilization devices. Provides technical support for radiation protection procedures and machine calibrations. Maintains radiation safety for self, co-workers, and patients in accordance with established guidelines. Assists physicists in the design and implementation of research activities related to dosimetry. Performs special projects related to dosimetry as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Computer proficiency required.
