Terre Haute, IN, hybrid available Full Time, 40 hours/week Monday - Friday, no required weekends
Required Travel:
No Cancer Care Group, P.C. has an exciting opportunity to join the expanding team at the Hux Cancer Center in Terre Haute, IN. With more than 25 years of ACR accreditation, the Hux Cancer Center has a long history of high quality, state of the art patient care. The department has minimal turnover and an outstanding team culture. Join our dynamic physics team of two dosimetrists, three physicists, two medical physics residents and a clinical support specialist.
Equipment:
2 beam-matched Varian TrueBeam linacs and 1 Varian Edge linac, Philips Big Bore CT simulator, Elekta Flexitron HDR with Oncentra, Elekta One Planning (Monaco + MIM Pro), Mosaiq EMR, Radformation suite.
Treatments offered:
3D, VMAT and
SRS/SBRT
with IGRT and
SGRT, HDR
for GYN, prostate and skin, Radioligand therapies, and radiation treatment for benign conditions. Hybrid and flexible work schedules are available. Please inquire for more details.
Responsibilities:
Participate in all aspects of clinical treatment planning Collaborate with the physics and physician team to implement new modalities Participate/lead quality process improvements in dosimetry Assist with the CAMPEP accredited residency for the treatment planning rotation (affiliate site of the University of Kentucky Medical Physics Residency)
Qualifications:
Certified Medical Dosimetrist, or MDCB board eligible 3+ years experience as a clinical dosimetrist is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Previous experience as a radiation therapist is a plus Experience with Monaco treatment planning is helpful, but not required Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment are essential
