alongside the Aria treatment planning system to support advanced cancer treatment delivery. The center maintains established clinical protocols to ensure coordinated and quality oncology patient management. About the Facility Location Pikeville, Kentucky offers a range of local attractions suitable for clinicians on assignment. The area features destinations such as Dueling Barrels Brewery and Distillery, the Pikeville Cut-through Overlook, and the Appalachian Wireless Arena for entertainment and recreation. The community hosts recurring events including a Farmers Market, Food Truck Fridays, and a Night Market, providing dining and cultural engagement throughout the year. About the Clinician's Workday The radiation oncologist will provide comprehensive outpatient oncology services Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with nightly and weekend call coverage. Daily responsibilities include managing 5-10 patients on treatment (3-5 treatment plans and 3-5 sims), with Tuesday designated as treatment day at a volume of 20-25 patients. The clinician will deliver IMRT, IGRT, and SBRT treatments utilizing Varian equipment and will document all patient care through the EPIC EMR and Aria treatment planning system. Hospital privileges are required and can be obtained on a temporary basis within a few days; full enrollment is anticipated for assignments exceeding 60 days.
