Full Time Sibley Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area. Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms. Our team of radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, therapists, and nurses are all specially trained to treat specific cancers, and we work side-by-side with other Johns Hopkins experts, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, pathology, and interventional radiology to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, using targeted technologies including Proton Therapy and procedures such as Brachytherapy. Our patient safety program - cited as one of the best in the nation - employs quality assurance protocols and innovative techniques to ensure safety and well-being of all our patients. With high-end technology and a commitment to solid, evidence-based practice, our researchers continue to pioneer new findings in molecular radiation sciences, findings that lead to new treatments, higher levels of safety, and ever-increasing hope for patients and their families. Sibley Memorial Hospital is searching for a full-time Dosimetrist to join its elite Proton Radiation Oncology team.

As a Dosimetrist you will:

Create high quality, external beam treatment plans of varying complexity; Provide safe and accurate environment for patients Participate in simulation process Advise on immobilization and patient positioning Fuse images including MR and CT simulation Participate in weekly chart rounds and provide feedback Promote teamwork What Awaits You? Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of a JRCERT accredited dosimetry program Registered with Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) strongly perferred One (1) year Proton experience is strongly preferred

Salary Range:

Minimum 57.42/hour - Maximum 94.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
