Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our healthcare facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing administrative functions and partnering with a Nurse Manager, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing financial performance, and fostering a positive environment for staff and patients alike. The Practice Manager will serve as the backbone of our practice, driving efficiency, quality care, and exceptional patient experiences. Duties Oversee all aspects of medical office management, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure smooth daily operations. Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and expense control to optimize practice profitability. Supervise medical administrative support staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and human resources functions. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards, JCAHO accreditation requirements, and OSHA safety protocols. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as ModuleMD to maintain accurate medical records and streamline clinical workflows. Partnership with clinical teams—nurses, physicians, dental professionals—to support acute care or dental clinic services while maintaining high-quality patient care standards. Monitor utilization management processes and manage managed care contracts to maximize reimbursement and patient access. Oversee clinic operations related to medical records management, billing accuracy, and insurance claims processing within EMR/EHR systems. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management with a strong background in office operations within a clinical setting. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in medical or dental offices; excellent leadership skills are essential. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such asModuleMD or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards like JCAHO. Experience with fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management. Background in clinical service is highly desirable; healthcare administration experience is essential. Familiarity with human resources practices related to staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation and conflict resolution. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Join us as a Practice Manager and lead our team toward operational excellence!
