The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care processes, ensuring smooth operations within our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental scheduling, health information management, and familiarity with dental terminology. The Treatment Coordinator will act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that all treatment plans are communicated effectively and efficiently. Duties Oversee the scheduling of patient appointments and manage the flow of patients within the dental office. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health information management standards. Communicate treatment plans to patients clearly, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient care and ensure all necessary documentation is completed. Utilize computerized systems for managing patient information, appointments, and billing processes. Assist in verifying insurance coverage, including Medicare, and explain financial responsibilities to patients. Provide support in office management tasks to ensure a well-organized and efficient work environment. Requirements Proven experience in office management within a dental office setting is preferred. Familiarity with dental scheduling practices and health information management systems. Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Proficiency in using computerized systems for administrative tasks.
