In this vital role, you will oversee daily administrative functions, manage patient scheduling, handle financial transactions, and coordinate with clinical staff to support exceptional pediatric dental care. Your leadership will foster a positive office environment, uphold compliance standards such as HIPAA, and drive practice success through effective management of office operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with strong medical office experience and a passion for pediatric healthcare to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities Supervise front office staff, including scheduling coordinators, receptionists, and administrative support personnel, ensuring high performance and excellent patient service Oversee patient intake processes, verify insurance benefits, and manage billing procedures utilizing dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Coordinate appointment scheduling for pediatric dental procedures while optimizing clinic workflow to reduce wait times and enhance patient satisfaction Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Manage financial aspects including budgeting, billing collections, payment processing, and financial reporting to support the practice's fiscal health Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth communication between administrative and dental teams for efficient patient care delivery Implement office policies related to medical administrative support, EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like eClinicalWorks or Epic, and other healthcare management tools Support human resources functions such as onboarding new team members, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and excellence Skills Extensive experience in medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting, with specific expertise in pediatric dentistry preferred Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like eClinicalWorks or Epic is highly desirable Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and managed care billing processes Proven supervisory experience leading front office teams in busy clinical environments Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance standards, and healthcare regulations such as JCAHO requirements Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinic setting Effective communication skills to interact professionally with patients, families, clinical staff, insurance providers, and vendors Ability to implement office policies related to acute care procedures and hospital experience standards when applicable Join us in shaping positive experiences for our young patients while advancing your career in pediatric dental healthcare management!
