Job Description
Priority Urgent Care is a rapidly expanding multi-facility urgent care provider in Bakersfield, California, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Practice Manager. As the Practice Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our clinic while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Clinical Practice Manager Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the urgent care center, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and adherence to organizational policies.Staff Management:
Train and lead a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure the highest level of patient care.Financial Management:
Collaborate with the billing department to implement effective revenue management policies and procedures. Monitor billing and collection processes for optimal financial performance.Quality Assurance:
Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to uphold the highest standards of patient care. Monitor and improve operational efficiency and performance metrics.Patient Experience:
Foster a patient-centered approach, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for patients. Address patient concerns and feedback to enhance overall satisfaction.Collaboration:
Work closely with medical staff, administrative teams, and other departments to streamline communication and ensure coordinated patient care. Communication withUpper Management:
Provide regular updates and reports to upper management on clinic operations, challenges, and achievements. Collaborate with executives to align clinic goals with overall organizational objectives.Work Schedule:
The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekdays, some assigned evenings, and some weekends. Rotating paid holidays and on-call shifts may be part of the schedule.Qualifications:
Previous Medical Assistant experience is required. Proven experience in a health care leadership is required. Strong knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality assurance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including effective communication with upper management. Ability to make sound decisions independently and solve complex problems. Proficient in the use of healthcare management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Compensation:
