Key duties include managing staff (hiring, training, scheduling), handling finances (billing, insurance claims, payroll, budgeting), coordinating patient care (scheduling appointments, presenting treatment plans), maintaining patient records, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and financial management skills.
Key responsibilities Staff management:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise administrative and clinical support staff. Create work schedules for the entire team. Conduct employee evaluations and manage performance issues.
Financial management:
Oversee billing, accounts receivable, and payment collection. Process insurance claims and communicate with insurance companies. Manage payroll and benefits administration. Develop and manage the practice's budget.
Patient and administrative coordination:
Manage patient appointments, check-ins, and cancellations. Ensure smooth day-to-day office workflow. Handle patient billing and explain treatment plans. Maintain patient records and manage office filing systems. Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries. Required skills Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Financial and accounting knowledge. Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Compliance and operations:
Ensure the practice complies with all relevant healthcare regulations. Implement and oversee office protocols and procedures. Manage office supplies inventory. Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency.
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
