This role involves managing daily operations, overseeing smooth patient flow, and ensuring exceptional patient experiences. Responsibilities include training and supporting staff, coordinating treatment plans, and managing HMO, PPO, and Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal billing. Responsibilities Supervise daily office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and administrative support, to ensure seamless workflow Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and billing processes using dental practice management software Practice Web Oversee human resources functions including training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and other healthcare policies to protect patient privacy and legal standards Coordinate with clinical staff to support medical management activities, including EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems implementation Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency Oversee inventory control of dental supplies and equipment while managing vendor relationships Requirements Proven experience in dental office management or a similar healthcare setting with strong supervisory skills Extensive knowledge of medical administrative support functions, including billing, coding, and insurance claims processing Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable Strong understanding of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and medical records management Demonstrated ability in fiscal management, budgeting, and financial oversight within a medical or dental environment Excellent communication skills combined with leadership qualities to motivate staff and foster teamwork Background in medical terminology, acute care procedures, or hospital experience is a plus but not required Join us as a Dental Office Manager to lead our team toward excellence in patient care while managing the operational heartbeat of our practice.
