We are a growing, patient-focused dental practice in Goleta looking for an experienced Dental Office Manager who is ready to step into a real leadership role

This is a hands-on, high-impact position for someone who leads by example, communicates with confidence, and genuinely cares about the people they work alongside. What You Will Own Day-to-day operations across clinic locations in Santa Barbara County, with primary base in Goleta Staff leadership including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and one-on-one development conversations Culture
  • recognizing great work, handling difficult conversations directly and professionally, and keeping the team connected and motivated Financial oversight including budgeting, billing, insurance claims, and managed care reimbursements Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable healthcare regulations Patient flow and scheduling optimization to keep the practice running efficiently EDR management using Dentrix Ascend and Dolphin Reporting on clinic performance metrics to the owner dentists Policy development aligned with healthcare and practice management best practices What We Are Looking For Proven experience managing a dental or healthcare office•you have done this before and you are good at it A natural leader who takes initiative, does not wait to be told what needs fixing, and follows through Strong communication skills•you can motivate a team, deliver hard feedback, and represent the practice professionally with patients and vendors alike Solid understanding of dental billing, coding, insurance processing, and managed care Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and dental compliance standards Experience with Dentrix Ascend and/or Dolphin is a strong asset RDA, RDH, DA, or OA background is a plus•clinical knowledge helps Experience in pediatric dentistry or orthodontics is a bonus Healthcare management education or equivalent experience preferred Highly organized with the ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment without dropping the ball What We Offer A real seat at the table•the doctor wants a partner in leadership, not just an administrator Opportunity to shape culture, build systems, and leave a mark on a growing practice Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off HSA Professional development support A warm, team-oriented environment where your work matters If you are ready to lead, grow, and build something great•we want to hear from you.
