Job Description

Job Overview LA Sight, a premier ophthalmology and refractive surgery practice in West Los Angeles, is seeking an organized and service-driven Medical Office Supervisor to help lead our front office and clinical support team. Reporting to the Office Manager, this role keeps daily operations running smoothly, supports and supervises staff, and ensures every patient receives concierge-level care. Perks Monthly bonus and alternative work week schedule (4 days a week). Duties Oversee daily front desk and clinic activities, including check-in, scheduling, and patient flow. Supervise and support front desk staff, patient coordinators, and technicians, providing day-to-day guidance and training. Set the tone for concierge-level service at every patient touchpoint, from first call through follow-up. Assist with onboarding, training, and scheduling of administrative and clinical support staff. Monitor clinic flow throughout the day, identify bottlenecks, and keep wait times low. Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality across all systems. Support accurate documentation and recordkeeping in EMR/EHR systems. Escalate staffing and operational issues to the Office Manager as needed. Skills Experience in a medical office or front desk role, with some lead or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance. Ability to coach and motivate staff while maintaining a high service standard. Comfort managing patient flow in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Pay:
$25.57 - $40.00 per hour
