Job Description
We are an established multi-site dental group expanding rapidly in Southern California and the West Coast. If you are an experienced regional manager or a super office manager looking to take the next step in your career, we'd love to connect with you! This position requires deep experience within dental operations and will be responsible for overseeing and supporting premiere dental office locations while advancing their career with greater responsibilities and upward mobility. All of our offices have an exceptional patient flow and allow team members to enhance their personal compensation through exceptional bonuses. ($80,000
- 100,000+) annually based on experience & abilities).
Job Overview :
The Dental Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of multiple dental practices as well as special projects. This role requires a strong background in patient care coordination, accounts receivable, PPO insurance claims, dental schedule management, team leadership, and coaching. The individual in this position will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while maximizing operational efficiency and OM performance.Key Responsibilities :
1. Overseeing, supporting, training, and auditing the intake of new patients and the revenue cycle management duties associated with multiple offices. 2.Operational Oversight:
- Implement proven and efficient operational procedures to enhance the overall workflow of the dental practice.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency.
- Create strategic initiatives utilizing data from dental analytics software
- Provide onsite and remote presence, support, coaching and development of Office Managers
- Provide collaborative and solution-driven insights to leadership peers and senior management.
Peer OM Leadership and Development:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of dental professionals, including OM's, dental assistants, and hygienists.
- Conduct regular care team collaboration sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team members, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Facilitate collaboration among peer OM's in discussing and problem solving through barriers that inhibit productivity 4.
Patient Experience Enhancement:
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless and positive patient experience from appointment scheduling to post-treatment follow-up.
- Implement patient satisfaction surveys and encourage feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction.
Financial Management:
- Collaborate with the finance and executive departments to develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Implement cost-effective strategies to optimize resource utilization while maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Support and coach OM's on efficiency with RCM 6.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Provide support over dental practice adhere to all relevant industry regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs such as OSHA and HIPAA to maintain a high standard of care and patient safety.
Technology Integration:
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in the dental field and identify opportunities for technological integration to improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and ensure staff training for seamless adoption.
Required Qualifications :
- Multi-Site dental practice leadership
- Five+ years of dental practice operational experience
- Strong coaching and team-building skills.
- Knowledge of dental industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills :
- Multi Dental Practice Management experience.
- Preferred (not required), Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Experience in revenue/expense management
- Experience with leading change initiatives
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required All applicants must :
- Have prior dental practice experience
- Ability to work from main office but also visit other locations within the metro area
- Be comfortable working with computers (paperless charting, MS Suite etc), excellent typing skills, and familiarity with a paperless office
- Have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- Be able to treatment plan coordinate with CareCredit/3rd Party payment options
- Be familiar with PPO insurance, including generating and filing claims
- Have exceptional communication skills
- Be customer service-oriented
- Be punctual
- Be willing to participate in practice promotion and marketing events The position is full-time (M-F) and salaried ($80,000-100,000+), via generous bonus incentives.
