To help maintain and grow this standard, we're seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily activities at our two clinics both located in Modesto, CA. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven success in managing multiple departments for maximum productivity, and have the ability to work closely and directly report to the owner/CEO for all operational matters at both clinics. This person will be highly skilled in human resources, finance, and IT management, and be able to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion. Objectives of this role
- Maintain constant communication with owner/CEO, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
- Constantly and openly communicate with owner/CEO of company to report on clinic operations, administrative tasks, updates on staffing availability/scheduling, inventory status, unresolved billing matters, and assist with management of all employees
- Serve as a liaison between providers/staff and owner/CEO
- Serve as the main contact between our outsourced billing company to help address and resolve all billing issues
- Partner with vendors for scheduling meetings or in-services for staff
- Develop and implement company policies
- Supervise and train new employees to complete tasks according to company standards
- Evaluate employee performance and assist owner/CEO with human resources protocols
- Oversee materials and order new inventory when needed
- Provide back-up support to the front desk reception to help complete all administrative tasks surrounding current treating patients, new patients, referrals, authorizations, benefit checks Required skills and qualifications
- Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
- Strong skills in communication and the ability to have difficult and professional conversations with patients
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations and customer service
- Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
- Manage and respond to patient complaints or feedback in a professional, timely, and empathetic manner.
- Organized, detail oriented, and be able to execute a plan, measure progress, and make adjustments when necessary
- Have the ability to understand the broad scope of health insurance policies, billing breakdowns, and help patients understand their bills
- Basic knowledge of technology and an aptitude for learning new applications and software Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field, previous healthcare experience required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, any prior experience with electronic medical record systems
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to communicate in more than one language
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearBenefits:
