Job Description

Job title: Practice Manager — Hearing Care Practice (Front Office & Patient Experience) Job type:
Full-time Pay:
$24.00-$30.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (4-day work week) Start date: Immediate Job description: Golden State Hearing Aid Center is a premium, private-pay hearing care practice in Modesto. We're a small, high-touch office where patients are known by name and care comes before paperwork. We're hiring one exceptional person to run our front office and be the owner's right hand. This is not a reception job. You'll be the operational heart of the practice — the first voice patients hear, the person who turns inquiries into booked appointments, and the one who keeps the office running smoothly day to day. If you're warm with people, sharp with numbers, and someone others can count on, this is a role you can truly own. What you'll do: Create a warm, professional first impression for every patient, in person and on the phone Manage the schedule — booking, confirming, and following up so the calendar stays full Collect payments and manage CareCredit financing Handle light insurance verification and track accounts receivable Coordinate with vendors and keep office systems organized and current Take care of basic hearing aid handling (clean-and-checks, supply orders) — fully trained on the job You'll thrive here if you are: Genuinely warm with people, especially an older patient population Impeccably organized and comfortable with numbers Dependable — the kind of person who shows up ready and follows through Someone who takes ownership of results, not just tasks Calm and capable juggling phones, patients, and a to-do list at once Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus (not required) Hearing-care experience is welcome but not required — we'll train the right person. What we can't train is warmth, reliability, and ownership.
What we offer:
$25-$30 per hour, depending on experience A true 4-day work week — every Friday off Paid time off Access to a retirement savings program Direct mentorship from the practice owner in a stable, growing practice Work that visibly moves the needle — you'll be a key player, not a number To apply: Submit your resume through Indeed with a brief note on why this role fits you. We're hiring immediately and respond quickly to strong candidates.
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Benefits:
Health insurance Paid time off
