In this pivotal role, you will oversee clinical and administrative functions, ensuring smooth workflow, exceptional client service, and high-quality patient care. Your leadership will foster a positive team environment, promote compliance with healthcare regulations, and drive the practice's growth and success. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a passion for veterinary medicine and strong management skills to make a meaningful impact in animal health care. Duties Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity Oversee medical administrative support functions such as medical records management, billing, coding, and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like EzyVet Supervise veterinary staff, including technicians and administrative personnel, fostering professional development and maintaining high team morale Monitor fiscal management activities including budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control to maintain practice profitability Coordinate with human resources/regional director on hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling Utilize practice management software to streamline operations and improve patient flow Implement quality assurance protocols for medical records accuracy, utilization management, and clinical workflows in acute care settings Drive initiatives to enhance client experience through excellent customer service and effective communication Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare management within a veterinary setting preferred Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing teams in a clinical environment Extensive knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare regulations Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and resource planning Experience with veterinary practice operations or hospitality is highly desirable Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between staff members and clients while maintaining professionalism at all times Join us as we deliver outstanding pet care through dedicated leadership!
