  • Full-time The Dental Office Manager at is responsible for running and perpetuating a productive, efficient, and engaged dental practice.
At the core of your dedication is supporting the doctors, the Director of Operations (DO) and the office staff to develop the practice while developing a successful and positive team.
Essential Functions:
Be supportive of company standards while effectively building and nurturing a positive working relationship with the doctor(s). Provide exceptional customer service by making the patient the #1 priority! Management, training, and oversight of our office staff team members. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Collaboration with experienced professionals in our corporate and operations management teams. Versatility in working with analytical and financial data; including budgets, financial plans, and reports. Using information systems tools and reports. Good judgment and a strong ability to work with people like our team members, patients, and management. Good written and verbal communication skills. Lots of enthusiasm for seeing the company's business constantly improve. Lead strategic local marketing initiatives that help drive brand awareness and new patient growth. Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas. Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role.
Qualifications:
Educations/Certification:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and/or Infection Control training.
Skills and Abilities:
3-5 years of leadership/management experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred. Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills Professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job, including image and both verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, including conflict resolution skills. Strong organization, planning and analytical skills. Ability to use good judgment to make decisions independently. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment. Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as required.
Work Environment and Conditions:
Overtime required as approved by DO. Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions. Safety procedures and personal protective equipment are required to minimize the risks from X-rays and blood-borne pathogens. Potential of prolonged sitting and standing
