The Lead of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business functions of the dental office, ensuring smooth operations across clinical support, front office, and administrative workflows. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage people, optimize systems, and drive performance while maintaining an excellent patient experience.Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow coordination Supervise and support front office and administrative team members Monitor KPIs (production, collections, case acceptance, patient flow) and implement improvements Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize efficiency and patient care delivery Handle patient concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction Oversee billing, insurance processes, and financial performance in collaboration with ownership Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing team development Implement and refine systems to improve operational effectivenessQualifications:
3+ years of experience in dental or healthcare office management (required) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) Knowledge of insurance billing and dental office workflows Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field Experience scaling or improving operations in a growing practiceCompensation & Benefits:
