Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties Under the direct supervision of the Procurement and Services Officer II, the Business Service Officer I, Supervisor (BSO I) is responsible for supervising the preparation of all purchase/contract documents for the Institution. The BSO I supervises one Business Services Assistant (Specialist), the Property Controller II, and one Office Technician. The BSO I prepares the employee performance appraisals for staff under his/her supervision. Prepares various reports and correspondence affecting the Department and provides on-the job training to staff. Provides procurement training and assistance to staff throughout the institution. Limited term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).CDCR/CCHCS
