CRUZ DISTRICT / SANTA CRUZ MOUNTAINS SECTOR / HENRY COWELL REDWOODS STATE PARK
The reporting location for this position is Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park in Felton, CA. This position will work under the general supervision of State Park Superintendent II. The reporting location for this State Park Peace Officer Supervisor (Ranger) position is the Henry Cowell Redwoods Public Safety office, 101 North Big Trees Park Road, Felton, CA 95018. We are looking for a highly motivated person with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to join our operation and work team. The State Park Peace Officer Supervisor (Ranger) is responsible for the visitor services, public safety and law enforcement functions of Portola Redwoods State Park, Castle Rock State Park, Big Basin Redwoods State Park and Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and may serve as the duty Supervisory district wide as needed. The assignment includes a wide range of daily responsibilities including supervising permanent and seasonal staff, maintaining a growing aquatics program, working extensively with allied agencies and park partners and commanding a variety of critical incidents and public safety calls for service. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver's license on your application.
