You will partner closely with each Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator, translate our mission into clean operating rhythms, and report directly to the CEO on the numbers that reflect patient care/experience. This is a field-based role; you will be in our offices, with our teams, and close to the work. Job Summary The Regional Operations Manager drives patient-centric performance across our Digital Smiles practices in the Los Angeles South Bay and Orange County. Partnering with each Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator, you will translate our Mission, Vision, and Values into smooth day-to-day operations, exceptional patient experiences, and data-driven results. Key Responsibilities Quality and Patient Experience. Champion a 5-star review culture; lead root-cause analyses on patient complaints and same-day dentistry turnaround. Team and Systems Development. Coach Office Managers on digital workflow adoption, scheduling efficiency, and patient-flow protocols. KPI Tracking and Reporting. Own care (production) metrics, collections percentage, and net operating income; recommend corrective actions. Cost Controls and Revenue Cycle. Monitor supply, lab, and staffing ratios; implement expense-reduction initiatives while safeguarding quality. Ensure systems are in place to support smooth claim submission and subsequent RCM functions. Human Resources. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and corrective action; ensure CA wage-hour and leave-of-absence compliance. Compliance Oversight. Ensure adherence to
HIPAA, CPRA, OSHA, CDC
Infection-Control Guidelines, ADA accessibility standards, and the California Dental Practice Act. Cross-Functional Collaboration. Liaise with Marketing, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Leads, and IT/Facilities to align initiatives and maintain operational integrity. Risk Management. Maintain credentialing, radiation safety logs, and facility licensure; coordinate incident reporting and insurance renewals. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years multi-site operations management in dental, medical, or ambulatory healthcare. Demonstrated P&L accountability and experience leading teams of 50+ across multiple locations. Working knowledge of dental practice software. Proven understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and California employment regulations.

-to-Have Conversational Spanish common to South Bay communities. Experience serving Medi-Cal or other value-driven patient demographics. Prior leadership in a Dental Support Organization (DSO) or high-growth multi-site environment. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Care per Day. Represented in per provider per day Collections Ratio. maintain 98% Patient Satisfaction. Google review velocity and review rating Work Environment and Schedule Field-based across Torrance, San Pedro, Long Beach, Lawndale, Palos Verdes, and Yorba Linda. Reliable vehicle and ability to travel between offices. Occasional evening or weekend hours for team meetings or supporting other key leaders. Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary: $100,000 to $130,000 DOE. Performance bonus up to 15% tied to KPI achievements (care delivered, collections, cost controls). Supervises Office Managers / Treatment Coordinators. Coordinates with Revenue Cycle Manager, Marketing Manager, and Clinical Leadership.
