Job Description

Position Summary The Dental Office Manager is responsible for the overall administrative and operational efficiency of the practice. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, excellent patient experience, financial performance, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the dental office Manage front desk team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations Coordinate scheduling to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction Monitor accounts receivable, billing, and insurance claims processing Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and state regulations Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting Maintain inventory and order office supplies Address patient concerns and resolve conflicts professionally Develop and implement office policies and procedures Support marketing initiatives and patient retention strategies Qualifications 2+ years of dental office management experience preferred Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and coding Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred Skills & Competencies Team leadership and staff development Financial management and reporting Patient relationship management Problem-solving and conflict resolution Attention to detail and time management
