Meriden Health and Rehab Meriden CT Business Office Manager (Skilled Nursing Facility) We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Business Office Manager to join our skilled nursing facility team. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing all financial and administrative functions of the business office while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and delivering excellent customer service to residents and families. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the business office, collections, Manage Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and insurance Medicaid Applications Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and follow-up on denials Maintain resident trust accounts in compliance with state and federal regulations Supervise and support business office staff Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding financial matters Collaborate with admissions, nursing, and administration teams to ensure smooth operations Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records Resident Funds Management System (RFMS) Qualifications Prior experience in a S killed Nursing Facility is required Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing Experience with accounts receivable and collections Excellent organizational and leadership skills Strong communication and customer service abilities Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office What We Offer Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Supportive team environment and growth opportunities Join Our Team Today!
