Shoreline Periodontics, a leading surgical specialty practice serving the New London community, is seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead and support our growing team of 20+ professionals. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will play a critical part in both the operational and cultural success of the practice. Why This Role Stands Out Lead a well-established, respected specialty practice Partner directly with doctors to drive success and growth Influence both business performance and team culture Opportunity to lead a large, dynamic team (20+ employees) Competitive salary: $70,000 - $85,000 What You'll Do As Business Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations while driving performance, accountability, and team engagement. Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20+ staff members Conduct performance reviews, feedback, and team development Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing culture Promote an environment that builds patient trust, confidence, and a positive overall experience Financial & Operational Oversight Manage budgeting and financial performance Track and analyze P&L statements Monitor key performance indicators and drive improvement Ensure efficient scheduling and resource utilization Practice Operations Oversee patient flow, scheduling, and front-office coordination with our clinical team Ensure systems and processes are running smoothly and efficiently Support compliance, policies, and operational standards Doctor & Practice Support Partner closely with doctors on strategy and execution Help align team performance with clinical and business goals Support growth initiatives and overall practice success What We're Looking For 2+ years of management experience in a dental or medical practice or a business office setting Strong leadership and people management skills Experience with financial oversight, budgeting, and P&L tracking Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with scheduling systems and workflow optimization A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset Who You Are A natural leader who holds others accountable while building trust Highly organized and detail-oriented Confident in executing decisions and driving results Passionate about creating a strong team culture Comfortable balancing both people leadership and business performance About Shoreline Periodontics Shoreline Periodontics is a respected periodontal specialty practice dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced surgical expertise and a patient-first approach.
