RanieriDentistry.com - Local family-owned dental office! Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, friendly and personable Dental Office Manager for our
BRAND NEW
private practice. This is a solo doctor, family owned and operated dental practice in Bonita Springs, FL. Your dental office managing skills will help grow Ranieri Dentistry into a great place for patients to receive trusted and transparent dental care, while also being an amazing work environment, with no corporate dental office pressures. We started Ranieri Dentistry because we saw the unfortunate anxiety and strife that dentists, office managers and staff were put through when working for money-hungry corporate offices. We will strive to do everything in our power to keep our office happy and focused on what really matters: the people! You would help oversee daily operations, perform front-office duties, insurance verification, claims, scheduling, and assist with treatment plan presentation. This unique position will enable you to help foster the positive, team-oriented work environment and assist with hiring of future staff members of our office. Our office with be equipped with everything brand new: Open Dental software, Dental Intelligence Engagement (such as patient forms electronically, patient notifications, online scheduling by patients) and more to alleviate and automate duties. Duties Supervise and support dental office staff, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment Oversee fiscal management tasks such as budgeting, billing, coding, and accounts receivable to ensure financial health of the practice Manage medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare privacy standards Utilize employee-friendly software: EMR (Electronic Medical Records) - Open Dental and Dental Intelligence Engagement for scheduling, billing, and patient documentation Coordinate medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, and insurance verification Monitor clinic operations to optimize workflow efficiency and patient satisfaction Ensure adherence to healthcare management standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements and OSHA safety protocols Skills Proven experience in dental office management (2+ years preferred) Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, dental records management, and healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance Experience with Open Dental EHR preferred, but not required Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and insurance verification using Vyne Clearinghouse, and claims experience Experience in human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing dental records and billing processes Knowledge of dental clinic operations along with clinic experience is highly desirable Effective communication skills to liaise between staff members, patients, insurance companies, and vendors At Ranieri Dentistry, we hope to bring on the best individuals to add to a great work place environment and someone with great experience to manage daily operations with coordinating patient scheduling and filing insurance claims.
