Job Description

Overview Join a dynamic healthcare environment as a Dental Practice Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a busy dental clinic. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee administrative functions, manage staff, and ensure exceptional patient care. You will be instrumental in maintaining efficient workflows, managing financial aspects, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and team members. Your expertise in medical office management and dental practice operations will drive the success of our clinic while supporting the health and well-being of our community. Responsibilities Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality patient experiences Manage financial activities including budgeting, billing, coding, and revenue cycle processes using systems like Eaglesoft and Dentrix Supervise administrative staff, dental assistants, hygienists, and other team members to promote a collaborative work environment Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of medical records and patient information Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize clinic efficiency, including scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation Implement policies related to medical management, human resources, and office procedures to uphold regulatory standards such as JCAHO requirements Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to manage patient data accurately and efficiently Oversee medical administrative support functions including appointment scheduling, patient intake, insurance verification, and billing processes Monitor clinic performance metrics related to utilization management, managed care contracts, and quality assurance initiatives Lead efforts in staff training on medical terminology, medical records management, and compliance with healthcare regulations Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management with a strong background in medical office operations Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within a clinical or hospital setting Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable Solid understanding of fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records handling, and healthcare compliance standards such as JCAHO guidelines Experience in managing clinic workflows involving acute care or hospital environments is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting This position offers an engaging environment where your leadership will directly impact patient care quality while supporting operational excellence.
