As Hospital Manager, you will serve as the operational leader of the practice, partnering with veterinarians and department leaders to create an outstanding workplace culture while achieving business goals. What You'll DoStrategic & Financial Leadership Lead hospital growth, profitability, and operational efficiency initiatives. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including revenue, labor costs, doctor productivity, and client retention. Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce expenses. Manage budgeting, forecasting, accounts receivable, deposits, expense reporting, and invoice reconciliation. Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the hospital's long-term vision. Team Leadership & Culture Development Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing workplace culture. Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard team members and leaders. Coach, mentor, and develop department leads and future leaders. Address employee relations matters, performance concerns, and conflict resolution professionally and fairly. Monitor staffing, attendance, scheduling trends, and compliance requirements. Operations & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA, DEA, rabies reporting, and other regulatory requirements. Oversee facility maintenance, equipment functionality, vendor relationships, and service contracts. Manage inventory processes, supply partnerships, and cost-control initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems. Client Experience & Community Engagement Champion exceptional customer service and client satisfaction. Respond to client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and effective problem-solving. Monitor online reputation and client feedback platforms. Partner with marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives to strengthen hospital visibility and engagement. Leadership Collaboration Facilitate leadership meetings, doctor meetings, and strategic planning sessions. Support organizational initiatives, process improvements, and scalable growth strategies. Guide leadership teams through accountability and performance management systems. What We're Looking For Previous leadership or management experience, preferably in a veterinary, healthcare, or service-based environment. Strong financial and operational management skills. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational abilities. Experience managing budgets, KPIs, staffing, and business performance metrics. Ability to balance compassion with accountability and professionalism.
