This leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values exceptional client service, and is passionate about supporting both patients and veterinary teams. Position Summary The Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing hospital operations, team leadership, client experience, and financial performance while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and workplace culture. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and leadership skills with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day hospital operations and workflow efficiency Lead, mentor, and support veterinary support staff and reception teams Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Maintain high standards for client service and patient care Monitor scheduling, inventory, payroll, and operational budgets Ensure compliance with hospital policies, OSHA standards, and veterinary regulations Collaborate with veterinarians to improve processes and team communication Support a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture Monitor profitability, line item cost effectiveness and budgetary responsibilities along with strong cost effectiveness skills Qualifications Previous veterinary practice management or healthcare management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with staff supervision and team development Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of veterinary software (EzyVet/Smart Flow) and hospital operations is a plus Passion for animal care and client service excellence What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and holiday pay Continuing education and professional development opportunities Supportive team environment 401K How to Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resume and a brief cover letter outlining their leadership experience and passion for veterinary medicine.
