Full-Time Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Dental Office Manager to oversee daily administrative and operational functions for a pediatric dental practice with two locations. This role requires a strong leader who can effectively partner with doctors, clinical staff, and the second location's office manager to ensure smooth, consistent operations across both offices. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in dental office systems, insurance processing, and accounts receivable management, with a strong ability to lead teams and maintain excellent patient and staff experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management & Operations Oversee daily operations of a busy pediatric dental office Maintain smooth patient flow and front office efficiency Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures Coordinate with second location office manager to maintain consistency across both sites Team Leadership & Collaboration Partner closely with dentists, hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff Provide leadership, training, and support to front office team members Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment Participate in staff meetings and performance improvement initiatives Insurance Coordination Manage insurance verification and eligibility checks Submit, track, and follow up on dental insurance claims Resolve insurance denials and discrepancies Communicate effectively with insurance providers and patients regarding coverage Accounts Receivable (AR) Monitor and manage patient account balances Post payments and reconcile daily transactions Follow up on outstanding balances and collections as needed Maintain accurate financial records and reporting Administrative Duties Maintain office schedules, reporting, and documentation Support budgeting and revenue tracking efforts Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a dental office manager (pediatric experience preferred but not required) Strong knowledge of dental insurance billing and accounts receivable processes Familiarity with dental practice management software Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to travel between two locations as needed (minimal travel required) High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in multi-location dental practices Strong background in team leadership or supervisory roles Bilingual abilities (a plus, but not required)
